The Kaw Valley Herbs Study Group is an informal group that meets the second Tuesday evening of each month to learn about herbs. Our gatherings are fun and educational, and jam-packed with useful information, including relevant demonstrations.
At our gatherings, learn about the many aspects of each herb:
- Culinary uses
- Aromatherapy applications
- Medicinal properties
- Historical lore
- Growing and Crafting.
This group is open to anyone wanting to learn more about herbs grown in the garden and in the wild.
WHEN: 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Unitarian Universalist Congregation (1263 N. 1100 Rd., Lawrence)
FEE: $2 fee to cover costs (group is non-profit)
