Whether you are new to Unitarian Universalism, moving here from another UU community, or returning to UUCL after a time away, we welcome your religious exploration and participation.

What does Sunday morning look like at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lawrence?

We offer a Sunday morning program at 9:30, and our Sunday morning worship service is at 11:00, with children’s religious education or activities available during those times.   Both the program and the worship service are about an hour in length.

As you enter the lobby, look for our Welcome Table. We usually have 4-10 visitors a week—often people who have visited this website and are curious to know what we are about.  We have information about Unitarian Universalism and our UUCL religious education programs which you are welcome to take with you.

Our friendly greeters will welcome you, orient you to our building and activities, and be happy to answer any questions that you may have.  You’ll be offered a name tag, and we’ll invite you to fill out a visitor card; there you may sign up to receive our e-newsletter with your email address. You might also sign up for our New To UU class.

Our coffee and social time happens in Founders Hall (our older building) at 10:30, after the Program and before the Worship Service.  It’s a lively time for coffee or tea and conversation—frequently program presenters stay for coffee to continue discussion and respond to questions.  While there, you can enjoy the monthly art shows featuring Lawrence-area artists that adorn the walls of Founders Hall.   We hope you’ll join us there!
